One thing?

Last night I was fortunate to be invited to an in person interview with the author of Diet for a Hot Planet, Anna Lappe, check out the links to her site. It was an informative talk about organic local foods and strategies for living and eating each day.

The question... 'What is one thing can I do in my life right now to create a small change in the world for food sustainability?' ...accompanied me home.

I've tossed it around a little and have come up with this:
  • Joe Longs Family Farm - a link for grass fed beef in Western Washington (free of antibiotics or hormones)
  • Ordering from Full Circle Farm - something on my to do list, but hasn't been getting done. It's now complete, I will pick up our first box on Wednesday.
Small changes, but maybe they will help start a ripple!

  1. How wonderful to be able to attend an event like that!

  2. Yep! It's a part of the "Good Life Book Events" and I'm hoping it will be possible to attend a couple more. The themes are appealing! And, it's nice to be in a room full of people who are striving to live in a similar manner sharing their experiences from along the way.
